"The Sunset Parade" - Since September 1956 the Marines from the "Oldest Post of the Corps" - Marine Barracks, Washington, DC - have hosted a parade at the Marine Corps War Memorial near Arlington National Cemetery.
The Evening Parade stands as a lasting tribute to those for whom “uncommon valor was a common virtue” and is symbolic of the pride and professionalism of all United States Marines who stand ready to enter harm’s way.
In honor of the memory of the Marines who have given their lives since November 10, 1775, this parade features the Marine Drum & Bugle Corps with their "Music in Motion" and the precision rifle handling of the Silent Drill Team. It's a spectacular show of patriotism and pageantry that shouldn't be missed.
